What are some ways that the school could save money?
Next year the school will have a difficult time operating because they will have less money. Can you think of some ways the school could save money without hurting the quality of education? One idea that some people have been discussing is a 4 day school week. In the right column of this blog is a poll. Go ahead and vote on the subject. Maybe we should try selling the school's older, previous generation computers in a fundraiser.

If the school does want to do the 4 day weekend then we should start school at like 7:15 so we don't get out so late.

the school could have less buses because there are two buses that almost go in the same place bus 14 just needs to go about a couple miles farther.

4 day weekend will save a whole bunch a money because it will be less of a bill the school would have to pay. We just have to get more homework on Thursday's if this will really happen to our school.

I think we should bake cake or something and auction it off to parents or the whole community. I think that would be a fun way to raise money for the school.

We could save money by keeping all the old books and not getting new ones all the time like if there's a series of chapter books for english or something and if they're kinda torn up but you can still read them then don't throw them away it would save money.

At basketball games we should have a fundraiser at half time where people can pay $1 and shoot a 3 pointer for soda.

I think we could save $$ by having 4 day weeks and 3 day weekend but the problem is the hours right so just have a normal day but make the school year longer and maybe have 4-5 snow days a year! <:-)

I think that one way the school could save $ is to not buy all the stupid stuff like smart boards. I do think they are fun, but they are a waste of $ to use when white boards are a lot cheeper.
